Supporting Veterans through PTSD Awareness

In collaboration with Spotify's Heart and Soul department, OtherKind designed and facilitated a workshop series focused on PTSD awareness and support for veterans within the organization. The program aimed to educate employees about the complexities of PTSD and provide a supportive environment for veterans to share their experiences and challenges.

OBJECTIVE

The primary objective was to raise awareness about PTSD and its impact on veterans, foster empathy and understanding among employees, and offer practical tools for managing PTSD symptoms. This initiative also sought to create a supportive workplace culture that acknowledges the unique experiences of veterans.

A series of three workshops, each lasting 1.5 hours.

Dr. April B. Gaines, an active-duty Army psychologist with extensive experience in trauma and PTSD.
